This website has been researched and developed by Danni Hatton, Fred Hughes, Lee Edwards, Rachael Edwards and Torsten Christensen. We are all undergraduates on the Multimedia and Internet Technology course at Salford University. We all have an interest in web design and hope to eventually work in the industry. Scranchester is going to be submitted as a piece of course work for our Group Design and Project Management module.

Our intention was to provide a site that would be a comprehensive guide to eating out in Manchester as well as giving users interesting and useful information about food and Manchester. The site has been developed to W3C standards and has been tested in all popular browsers.

To research the site we visited many of the locations featured i.e. Curry Mile, Trafford Centre, City Centre, etc. At these locations we took photos, spoke to restaurant owners and collected menus and leaflets. We found that people were helpful and informative and we would like to thank them for there co-operation.
